Spring Rabbits and Fruit Bottomed Ladies!

Spring Rabbits and Fruit Bottomed Ladies!

It's almost spring and time for some new projects!  Try one of Bunny Hill's patterns, French Rabbits and make a cute quilted pillow!  We also have the Fruit Bottomed Ladies by Elizabeth's Studio and made a Flora Handbag tote wtih them!
And we had to show Scout's friend she made today, Dora.  (This was the only picture in which at least one subject wasn't blurry).  Steve and Sherry, who live part of the year in Columbia and part of the year in Indiana, stopped by and when they saw Scout, the Golden Doodle, they had to bring in Dora, their Labradoodle!  Both girls were so pretty and calm but not so keen on posing for the camera!

Welcome to Our New Blog!

 Welcome to Our New Blog!

We'll be posting new fabric lines, patterns and books and also our upcoming class schedule.  We have just celebrated five years at 25 North Main Street, Inman and are so thankful for our customers and friends we have met and made along the way.  We hope you will visit us often to see what's going on and drop by to sign up for classes and check out what's new!

We have a beautiful new line from Lakehouse Dry Goods, Penelope and are trying to decide what pattern will show it off to perfection!

We also recently got in some colorful 14" zippers from Atkinson Designs and whipped up this Zippy Strippy bag, also from Atkinsons Designs, with one!  It makes a perfect makeup bag or sewing kit and is a cute gift for a friend, daughter or niece.  It's quick because it's a quilt-as-you-sew pattern with the piecing done through the fusible fleece and lining and there are three sizes in the pattern.  Embellish it as you wish. We used ric-rac and pink buttons.

And, last, but certainly not least, we'd like to introduce Becky's first little grandson, Braden Walker Putnam to the world!  He was born on January 7th and arrived safe and sound!
